Subscribing to SportsOptions Odds

  • Go to www.SportsOptions.com and click the Sign Up link.
  • Enter your username and password.
  • Select the service and number of months you want to subscribe for.
  • Enter your credit card information.
Once approved, you will be able to immediately log into SO Odds by clicking the Login Here link.


Renewing your subscription to SportsOptions Odds

  • Go to www.SportsOptions.com and click the Renew link.
  • Select the service and number of months you want to subscribe for.
  • Create a username and password.
  • Enter your credit card information.
Once approved, your account will be immediately extended for the time period you selected.


Logging into SportsOptions Odds

  • Go to www.SportsOptions.com and click the Login Here link.
  • Accept any security warnings that pop up.
  • Once the SO Odds Login opens, enter your username and password and click the Login button.
  • Enter your credit card information.
Tip: To save your username and/or password, check the Save Username and/or Save Password options.


Selecting Sportsbooks - SportsOptions Odds Column Setup

The Column Setup is used to add, remove or change the order of the sportsbooks displayed on your Odds Window.

To get started, click on the "Setup" menu and choose "Columns". This will open the Column Setup Window:

Note: Columns are separated into three line-types: Game lines ('Available columns'), Money, Run and Puck Lines ('Available ML/RL/PL columns') and First half lines ('Available 1st Half columns'). When you add a column from the ML/RL/PL sections, the appropriate line-type will be displayed for each sport. For example, Money lines will be displayed for Football, but Run lines will be displayed for baseball.

The following instructions will work for all line-types:

Adding Columns

  1. From any of the 'Available Columns', click on the Column you want to add. You can select multiple columns by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on a column name.
  2. Click the 'Add->' button to move the columns to the 'Displayed Columns'. You can quickly add all columns from any line-type by clicking the appropriate 'Add All->>' button. The columns will be added after the last 'Displayed Column'.
  3. To insert the column in a specific location in the 'Displayed Column' list, you must first click on the 'Displayed Column' that you want to add the column(s) in front of.
  4. You can change the order of the 'Displayed Columns' by selecting a 'Displayed Column' and using the 'Move Up' and 'Move Down' buttons.

Removing Columns

  1. From the 'Displayed Columns', click on the column you want to remove. You can select multiple columns by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on a column name.
  2. Click the '<-Remove' button to remove the columns from the 'Displayed Columns'. You can quickly remove all 'Displayed Columns' by clicking the '<<-Remove All' button.

Other Options

  • Show Details Column - Check this option to display the 'Details' column.
  • Show Game Number - Check this option to display the 'Game Number' column.
  • Show Date/Time - Check this option to display the game date on each event.
  • Show Score Column - Check this option to display the 'Score' column.
  • Show Opener - Check this option to display the 'Opener' column. You can also select the sportsbook you want to use for the Opener column.
  • Remove 100s in money - When this option is checked, game lines with money will be displayed as two digits. Example, '3-20' instead of '3-120'
  • Combine Details and Scores - Check this option to combine the 'Details' and 'Score' columns. When checked, the details for each game will be displayed until the first score is received for the game, at which time the score will be displayed.

Column Size

There are 3 column size options;

  1. Default - Uses the default setting (66).
  2. Set Size - Lets you select the column size from the drop-down list.
  3. Minimum - All columns will be set to the smallest possible size based on the lines in that column. When this option is selected, the column sizes will change based on the lines being displayed.

When you are finished, click the 'Save' button to apply your selection and close the Column Setup Window. If you want to exit without saving your changes, click the 'Cancel' button.


SportsOptions Odds Font Setup
The Font Setup is used to select the type, style and size of font you want to use.

To get started, click on the "Setup" menu and choose "Fonts". This will open the Font Setup Window.

  • Once you have made your selections, click on "OK" to save your changes and close to the "Font Setup".
  • Click on "Cancel" to exit the "Font Setup" without saving your changes.

Note: Some fonts do not work well with RXO. It is recommended that you use a standard font and regular or bold style. Size can be set to fit your needs, but any size over 18 will seriously reduce the amount of information displayed in the Odds Window.


SportsOptions Odds Line-Change Color Setup
The Line-Change Color Setup is used to change the highlight colors used for incoming line-changes

To get started, click on the "Setup" menu and choose "Line-change colors". This will open the Column Setup Window.

  • Use the drop-downs to set how long line-changes will stay highlighted for each color.
  • To set a color, click on any color under "Available Colors".
  • Click on ?Save? to save your settings and close the close the window.
  • Click on ?Cancel? to close the window without saving the changes.



SportsOptions Odds Show Dates Setup
The Show Date options lets you either display or hide the date for each event.

  • To display the date for each individual game, click on the ?Setup? menu and select ?Show Dates.?
  • Follow the same procedure to remove the dates from each individual game.



SportsOptions Odds Baseball Lines
For baseball games, you can choose to display both the favorite and underdog (take-back) odds or just the favorite odds.

  • To display both odds, click on the "Setup" menu and select "Show baseball take-backs".
  • Follow the same procedure to hide the underdog (take-back) odds.



SportsOptions Max View
The Max View button is used to display more columns on the Odds Window.

When you click on the ?Max View? button, the ?Time? and ?Opener? columns will be removed from the Odds Window and the event team names will be replaced with three letter abbreviations.

SportsOptions Odds Clearing Updates
You can clear highlighted changes in any of the following ways:

  • The "Clear Tab" button will clear all of the highlighted changes for the selected Tab.
  • The "Clear All" button will clear all of the highlighted changed for all Tabs.
  • The "Clear Visible" button will clear all of the highlighted changes that are currently in view.
  • The "Clear Event" option will clear all of the highlighted changes for the selected event. This option can be selected by right-clicking on an event and selecting "Clear Event".
  • The "Clear Column" option will clear all of the highlighted changes for the selected column. This option can be selected by right-clicking on an event and selecting "Clear Column.

If your selection is found, the event will be displayed and will flash.

SportsOptions Odds Tabs (sports)

SportsOptions Odds uses Tabs to display events for different sports and leagues. You can add Tabs for entire sports (Football, Basketball, etc) or individual leagues (NFL, NBA, NCAA Basketball, etc).

To setup your Tabs, click the 'Setup' menu and choose 'Tabs'. This will open the Tab Setup Window:

Adding Tabs

  1. From the 'Available Tabs', click on a sport or league.
  2. Click the 'Add->' button.
    Note: You can also double-click on the sport or league to add it.
  3. To insert the Tab in a specific location, first click on the Tab in the 'Displayed Tabs' that you want to insert the new Tab in front of.
  4. You can change the order of the 'Displayed Tabs' by selecting a Displayed Tab and using the 'Move Up' or 'Move Down' buttons.

Removing Tabs

  1. From the 'Displayed Tabs', click on the sport or league you want to remove.
  2. Click the '<-Remove' button. You can quickly remove all Displayed Tabs by clicking the '<<-Remove All' button.
    Note: You can also double click on the sport or league to remove it.

When you are finished, click the 'Save' button to apply your settings and close the Tab Setup Window. If you want to exit without saving, click the 'Cancel' button.

SportsOptions Odds Viewing Odds
After logging into SportsOptions Odds the program will open and display odds. You can use Tabs to view different sports and MyViews to view just the events you select.

You can use the Line-type dropdown to view other line-types such as moneylines, first-half lines and opening lines.

    You can use the Line-type dropdown to view other line-types such as moneylines, first-half lines and opening lines.

    To change the line-type you are viewing, click on the ?Line-type? dropdown and select the line-type you want to view.

    To have a Tab always display a specific line-type:

    • Click on the Tab
    • Select the line-type
    • From the ?Setup? menu, select ?Remember Line-Type?

  • SportsOptions Odds Viewing Halftime Odds
    When an event goes to halftime, the background of the event will turn blue and the halftime odds will automatically be displayed in place of the game odds.

    You can also view halftime odds by selecting ?2nd Half? from the ?Line-type? dropdown.
